More than Human (A Resident Evil Inspired title) will be created using the latest version of the Unreal Engine 5 game engine platform and will incorporate a variety of Unreal Engine compatible plugins such as Twin Motion, Unreal Engine's Multiplayer Zombie Survival Template (Whippy Games), Unreal Engine's Zombie AI System (Remesh Games), Unreal Engine's 105 Zombie Animations Mocap+281 Bonus Zombie Audio (Yummy Games), Unreal Engine's Dynamic AI System (Grzegorz Szewczyk), Unreal Engine's Character Editor (Polyphoria), Unreal Engine's EOS Online Subsystem (Redpoint Games), and Unreal Engine's Easy Build System v10 (Easy Systems). These Unreal Engine plugins are what makes the core of Resident Evil: More than Human function as a cohesive system of third-person MMORPG post-apocalyptic survival with structural building gameplay, though more Unreal Engine plugins may be implemented in later development.

Overview:

This project is a first and/or third-person wave-based shooter template. You survive waves of enemies to see how high of a wave you can make it to. Enemies increase in difficulty as the waves progress. The number of enemies scale with the number of players in the game. You earn points by shooting & killing enemies. Players can spend their points on weapons, traps, doors, or anything else you want to charge points for. This project is fully replicated for multiplayer. It’s set up to be easily edited & changed to your liking. You can simply switch out player characters, animations, weapons, menus, sounds, & enemies with whatever you want to use. This template has been tested & works with the Steam subsystem, however, you can use whatever subsystem you want. This template is meant to be used as a starting point for your game. It contains all the base systems to get your multiplayer game operational without all the headaches. This is a standalone project.
