 More than Human (A Resident Evil Inspired title) (Character Class, Sub-Class Attributes, and Skill Tree Overview)

(Example of Advanced Skill Tree)

Players will have the opportunity to customize their character's unique attributes through what are known as "Classes" and "Sub-Classes". The "Class" attribute(s) will be known for a character's base properties, characteristics, and special abilities in which a character's core abilities are formed. Within this skill tree, choices made in the direction of one ability will close off access to players from accessing other abilities in the same skill tree. Some attribute choices may only contain 1 or 2 paths to choose from as where others may contain 3 or more. This is also true with the "Sub-Class" attributes to further expand character attribute customization. The "Class" attributes basic ability overview are as follows:

The "Brute" Class:


This class attribute endows a character with the ability to do an exceeding amount of melee damage which can also cover and supply an up-close surrounding area of damage to their enemies while also having the ability to receive a fairly decent amount of damage without taking serious harm or giving much ground to the enemy. Attacking creatures would be wise to keep their distance from this character's devastating and relentless melee attacks. Should an enemy be met with one of these blows, it has the potential to not only send the enemy flying but also knock them back into other enemies in a melee wave of devastation.

The "Psychic or Telepathy" Class:


This Character Class is known for its ability to control enemies and objects using the power of the mind. It is also known for giving a character a sixth sense to special nearby items as well as impending dangers such as surprise mini-bosses and random incoming enemy hordes. Traveling the open world of Resident Evil: More than Human may trigger certain random events where a player is met with enemies in few or perhaps in greater numbers and the "Psychic or Telepathy" class gives the character the ability to sense when this is about to happen. This becomes very useful when traveling the open world with teammates seeking supplies for your Strong Hold. This class also gives the character the ability to uncover hidden, rare, powerful, and useful items when scavenging for gear in the open world. With the "Psychic or Telepathy" class, players can not only take control of inanimate objects and throw them or use them to block the path of the enemy but also are able to take control of the minds of a certain amount of enemies (depending on the level of an attribute(s)) causing them to attack other enemies while also defending the controlling character from enemies attacks while they are still standing or under the character's influence. 

The "Palliate" Class:


This Character Class is genuinely a healer-type class and is able to take on a tremendous amount of damage due to their regenerative properties. This allows the character to stay in a fight while others heal and or gear up for the next assault. While fighting, this class also has the ability to heal nearby teammates while continuing their own assault on the enemy. Not only can this class heal teammates while in combat, they are also able to restore the health of enemies who are under the "Psychic or Telepathy" class's influence, allowing them to fight longer and in some cases, tougher. 

The "Recon" Class:


This Character Class is a crafting gadget and gear specialist. As with other characters, classes must create and assemble gear and gadgets in the safety of their Strong Hold, the "Recon" class is able to quickly craft gear and gadgets in the open-world immediately whether in or out of combat using scrap materials found while scavenging the open world. Gadgets and gear which can be crafted by the "Recon" class are (but are not limited to) turrets, traps, body armor, drones, ammo and specialty ammo such as acid rounds, explosive rounds, etc, and explosives such as C4, claymores, pipe bombs, flash-bang grande and more. This class also has the ability to access certain locked areas of a map through hacking computer terminals or lock picking accessible doorways in order to discover and obtain materials, rare gear, guns melee weapons, and more.

The "Ghost" Class:


This Character Class not only has the ability to (at times) walk amongst the dead undetected but also can use their ability to access locked areas blocked by bars, metal fences, or walls that have been weakened in a certain way. This allows the character to obtain rare items and materials stealthily without alerting nearby enemies or tripping alarms which could bring upon you the horde, or something far worse. This Character Class will also allow the player to save another player's character even in postmortem (after the character's death) and revive them, though in (in some cases) a weakened state.

Character Sub-Class Attributes Overview:

As with a character's "Class Attributes", a Character's "Sub-Class Attributes" are also available in 5 different forms of granted special abilities and are as follows;

The "Rage" Sub-Class:


This Character Attribute grants the character a temporary boost to many of their base (Class) attributes which can involve any variety of attributes given the attribute that is chosen. Though this Sub-Class is mainly used to raise a character's strength and toughness, this attribute can also be used to strengthen an ability used and or (also) lengthen the longevity of any given ability.

The "Second Sight or ESP" Sub-Class: 

This Character Attribute grants the character the ability to teleport themselves and or their entire team in the out of certain situations and can even create Psychic Shields to cover and protect the surrounding area so that they or their team may retreat or gear up for the fight ahead. The "Second Sight or ESP" attribute also has the ability to stun or paralyze certain enemies, giving their team a combat advance or means to escape a rather difficult to overcome the situation.

The "Reanimate" Sub-Class:


This Character Attribute grants the character the ability to raise fallen enemies from the dead to fight alongside them as well as empower those enemies with special abilities of their own which could cause an opposing enemy to be set on fire when attacked, deteriorate from an acid burn when struck or become knocked back in other enemies. The "Reanimate" Sub-Class also gives the character the ability to shorten the time it takes for them and other changes to use their abilities and may also provide an increase of longevity to those attributes (you or another character's special abilities)

The "Gadget Hatcher" Sub-Class:


This Character Attribute is a more advanced adaptation of the "Recon" class, as this Sub-Class grants the character the ability to not only hold, craft, and supply gear and gadgets faster but also unlocks the ability to call for reinforcements, air strikes, and material drops needed for crafting on the go. The "Gadget Hatcher" Sub-Class is a master crafter for forging gear though their true talents really shine when concerning the crafting of materials, gear, and structure at and to the Strong Hold. Not all gear and gadgets can be crafted in the open world and some can't be crafted in the player's Strong Hold without certain materials, but the "Gadget Hatcher" Sub-Class makes it possible to craft these items possible with using as very few materials as possible.

The "Spirit Walker" Sub-Class:


This Character Attribute grants the character the ability to take control of a mini-boss in a third-person view whilst remaining protected in a psychic energy bubble that surrounds only them. While in this state, the character is allowed to use any mini boss's physical or special ability attributes to attack other enemies which will also begin to attack the mini-boss that is currently under the influence of the "Spirit Walker". If the protective psychic energy bubble surrounding the "Spirit Walker" is broken at any time, this will also break the connection between the "Spirit Walker" and the mini-boss being controlled, sending the character back to possessing their own body and attributes.
